St. Louis Work Zones for May 16-22
ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have lane closures on a few interstates this weekend. Drivers need to consider these as they make their weekend plans.
Two lanes will be closed on southbound I-170 at Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) at 9 p.m. Friday, May 17 to perform preventative maintenance on the I-170 bridge over Route 180. Only one lane will remain open on southbound I-170. In addition, the ramp from southbound I-170 to Route 180 and the ramp from Route 180 to southbound I-170 will be closed. All lanes and the two ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, May 20.
Up to two lanes will be closed on both eastbound and westbound I-44 starting Friday night through Saturday afternoon for restriping near Antire Road. On eastbound I-44, one lane will close at 7 p.m. and two lanes at 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 with both lanes reopening by 2 a.m. Saturday. On westbound I-44, one lane will close at 9 p.m. and two lanes at 10 p.m. Friday, May 17 until 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18. One lane will remain closed westbound until 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18.
The Senior PGA golf tournament comes to St. Louis and it will include road closures. Route AB (Ladue Road) will be closed between Route 141 and Mason Road from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from Tuesday, May 21 through Sunday, May 26. Mason Road will also be closed during these same hours and days from West Wailing to Ladue Road.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
- I-64, St. Louis City, ramp from Pine Street to westbound I-64 closed until August 2013.
- I-64, St. Louis City, ramp from Ewing to eastbound I-64 closed until August 2013.
- Jefferson Avenue Bridge, St. Louis City, closed over I-64 until August 2013.
- I-64, St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-64 is closed until late 2013.
- I-64, St. Louis City, drivers in both directions have three shifted, 10-foot lanes between Kingshighway and Vandeventer until November 2013. The rightmost lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Hampton.
- Wellington, St. Louis City, the Wellington bridge closed over the River Des Peres until early June 2013. Detour to Jamieson Avenue bridge.
- I-70, (westbound section of the Interstate 70 Blanchette bridge over the Missouri River) remains closed until fall 2013. The eastbound I-70 bridge has three lanes of traffic in each direction. The ramp from northbound 5th Street to eastbound I-70 is closed until fall 2013.
- I-70, St. Charles County, loop ramps from Mid Rivers Mall Drive to eastbound and westbound I-70 remain closed until fall 2013.
- I-70, St. Charles County, far right lane westbound closed from Route 370 to the Mid Rivers Mall Drive exit until fall 2013.
- I-70, St. Charles County, right lane closed westbound between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 79 until August 2013.
