St. Louis Work Zones for September 11-24

Weekend Closure of Southbound I-170

ST. LOUIS – Drivers heading through Clayton should be aware that MoDOT will close a section of southbound I-170 this weekend.

Crews will close all lanes and ramps of southbound I-170 between Forest Park Parkway and I-64 starting at 8 p.m. Friday, September 12.  There will be no access to eastbound and westbound I-64, Brentwood Boulevard or Eager Road from southbound I-170.  The closure will allow crews to complete preventative bridge maintenance along southbound I-170.  All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, September 15.
To avoid congestion on I-170, drivers wanting to head west on I-64 should take westbound I-70 to southbound I-270.   Drivers heading east on I-64 can take Forest Park Parkway to Big Bend to eastbound I-64.

For additional work zone information, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com.  All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
