Rte K to Mid Rivers Mall Drive Opening Soon (updated 10/29)
The driving lanes of the second half of Route 364/Page Phase 3 will open to traffic late in the weekend of October 31. Once the driving lanes are open to traffic there will still be some closures in place. The ramps at the Route 364-Route 94-Mid Rivers Mall Drive interchange will be open to traffic later this fall. The new ramp from eastbound Route 94 to eastbound Route 364 will also open later this fall. Drivers can continue to use the detour up and over Mid Rivers Mall Drive to access eastbound Route 364. Route K Traffic Impacts (updated 10/9)
Traffic impacts on Route K between Route N and South Outer 364 will continue for the next several weeks. Weather permitting, crews will have one lane closed on northbound Route K, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and one lane closed southbound from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition, one lane will be closed in both directions of Route K on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To receive updates on the impacts, send an email to Route.email@example.com.
Eastbound Route 94 Detour (updated 10/5)
Traffic on eastbound Route 94 is detoured at Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Traffic must exit at Mid Rivers Mall Drive, go through the intersection and back onto eastbound Route 94/Route 364. The detour will remain in place until the second half of the new Route 364 opens later this fall. To see a map of the detour, click here.
Westbound Route 364/Route 94 Lanes (updated 10/5)
Drivers coming from westbound Route 364/Route 94 have two lanes across the new bridge to continue onto westbound Route 94. This will be a temporary traffic condition until the new Route 364 opens. At that time, the ramp will be two lanes - one coming from westbound Route 94/Route 364 and one coming from Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
About the project:
MoDOT, St. Charles County and local municipalities teamed together to allocate $118.2 million towards building Route 364/Page Phase 3. The $118.2 million was used for purchasing property, utility relocations, design and construction. The project includes building an improved connection from Page Phase 2 at Route 94 and Mid Rivers Mall Drive to I-64/US Route 40/61 at Route N.
MoDOT used a Design-Build contracting process to have contractor teams compete to win the contract. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved the contract on February 6, 2013, awarding the project to the Page Constructors Joint Venture, which includes Fred Weber Inc. and Millstone-Bangert Inc (now known as Millstone Weber) along with Kolb Grading and lead designer, Parsons Transportation Group.
