KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The ramp from southbound Interstate 29/35 to eastbound Interstate 70 will be temporarily closed on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for asphalt paving. Traffic will be detoured westbound on Interstate 70 around the Downtown Loop to access southbound Interstate 35. Motorists should then follow the permanent highway signs to access eastbound Interstate 70 and points beyond.
The on-ramp from westbound Route 210/Armour Road to northbound Interstate 29/35 will also be temporarily closed beginning Saturday, June 4 at 6 a.m. for asphalt paving. It is expected to reopen by noon on Sunday, June 5. Motorists should take MO-1/Vernon Street/Prather Road/Antioch Road to southbound Interstate 35 to access northbound Interstate 29.
Additionally, motorists could experience delays along northbound and southbound Interstate 29/35 from Route 210/ Armour Road to Front Street on Saturday, June 4 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as lanes are reduced for asphalt work.
