MoDOT Launches Largest Bridge Project In State History The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently approved plans to improve 802 of Missouri's lowest rated bridges in five years, starting with 100 structures that will be under construction early next year. MoDOT recently began offering a new litter cleanup program for Missourians who want to help make a difference and clean up our state. The new Sponsor-A-Highway program will complement MoDOT’s current Adopt-A-Highway program and offer one more way for citizens to clean up Missouri. SAH

Missouri High Schools Challenged to Battle to Buckle Up!Seat Belt Campaign to Save Teen LivesCalling all Missouri high schools to battle! The 2008 Battle of the Belt Challenge is under way. The statewide competition is in its third year and will run Sept. 15 – Nov. 21 to educate young drivers about seat belt use to save lives and reduce traffic-crash injuries. BOTB Never Made It Campaign Portrays Consequences to Teens The Never Made It teen safety belt campaign launches Oct. 1, encouraging teens to buckle up and Arrive Alive. The campaign runs through October and conveys the potential consequences that teens may face when choosing not to wear their seat belts. Never Made It
